Race Report
It was a fine day and we welcomed four new competitors, Ros (a guest from the West Country), Claire (from Stoke) and Gloria and her sister-in-law Alison. Congratulations to Fiona and Martin who were our most improved competitors, Martin by well over two minutes. Well done!
Ros and Claire finished first and second ladies because they underestimated their own abilities when guessing their first handicaps. Next time they will find it a little harder!
Thanks to Jonathan, Jack Alice and Claire's partner for marshalling, to Emma for the refreshments, to the Goulds for putting out the signs to Ian for taking them in and to the the Longparish Cricket Club for the venue. It was good to see Jack back after his injury and he presented the trophies.
The next race is on Sunday 11 November starting at 9am because of the Remembrance Day service. Hope you can come.
