Race Report
There was a good turnout for the Christmas race, perhaps they were encouraged by the mulled wine and mince pies served afterwards.
We welcomed new runner Steve Squibbs and welcomed back Andrew Gibson after over seven years. Steve is clearly an expert because his time was exactly as he predicted, to the second.
Our trophy winners were Graham Capper, Alice Evans and Megan Brunwin. Well done all!

We paused to remember runner number 24, Jeffery Wiseman pictured with Sandra Jones, Jack Ellicock, Jacqui Healey and Alice when he won the April 2012 event. Sandra, Jacqui and Alice finished hand-in-hand and Jack was not sure whether to disqualify them for collusion of congratulate them for teamwork

January's event was cancelled because of icy conditions. The next race is on Sunday 9 February, starting at 9am at The Plough. New runners are always welcome and you don't have to be fast. It's a handicap race so everyone, whatever their pace, has a chance of winning.
