Race Report
We welcomed new runner, John Fradgley to the November run. As often happens the first time, John underestimated his ability. Starting with an estimated handicap he comfortably finished in first place.
But you don't get a trophy off an estimated handicap so our winners were Mark Curtis in second place and Jo Clare in third. Well done! Commiserations to Andy Smith who was heading for victory but had to pull up, injured, a few hundred yards from home.
Thanks very much to Maggie Barber, Pauline Brownlow, Zachary Moore. Andy Smith and David Gould for helping and to the Cricket Club for the lovely venue.
The next race is on Sunday 11 December, starting later than usual at 10am. It's our Christmas edition. Santa hats or even full fancy dress will be welcome and there will be mulled wine and mince pies afterwards. New runners are always welcome. You don't have to be fast. Please do give me a call or drop me an email if you'd like to join us.
We issue a monthly email invitation a few days before each race and very occasional other emails. Please follow this link to be added to our Mail Chimp list. Some email systems may treat your first email as spam so please look out for it and add us to your trusted list.
