Race Report

It was misty and chilly as we set off but the sun broke through and running conditions were pretty well ideal for the November run.

First home was James Ford who became our Most Improved Man. Alice Evans was Most Improved Woman in her 99th race and Megan Brunwin was our Rising Star

Our trophy winners

Afterwards we quickly dispersed to enable the runners to change ready for Remembrance.

Thank you very much to Maggie Barber for marshalling, Andy Smith and Alice Evans for doing the signs and to David Gould for processing the results.

The next race is on Sunday 14 December, starting at 9am at The Plough. This is our Christmas race and we'll have mince pies and mulled wine afterwards. Fancy dress is optional, Santa hats are encouraged.

Looking forward, if your New Year Resolution is to get out and run then please put Sunday 11 January in your diary for a great start to 2026.

New runners are always welcome and you don't have to be fast. It's a handicap race so everyone, whatever their pace, has a chance of winning.

We issue a monthly email invitation a few days before each race and very occasional other emails. Please follow this link https://tinyurl.com/yygolzdb to be added to our Mail Chimp list. Some email systems may treat your first email as spam so please look out for it and add us to your trusted list.
