Race Report

It was a dull morning for the May run. We welcomed a new junior, Stephen Williams, who led all the way and finished first by an amazing seven minutes. An excellent run; well done!

Wendy, Daniel and Andy, our Most Improved Runners

Next home and a deserving winner of the Most Improved Man award was Andy Smith with a new Personal Best. Wendy Beveridge was Most Improved Woman and Daniel Sanderson was our Rising Star. Lance Mitchell and Derrick Gardiner both recorded Personal Bests.

Stephen, Daniel and Luke providing enthusiastic help

Thanks very much to Maggie Barber, Andrea Williams and Pauline Masters for marshalling to everyone who accompanied juniors, and to Stephen, Daniel and Luke for enthusiastic help at the finish. Thanks also to James Masters for collecting the signs and to the Cricket Club for the lovely venue.

The next race is on Sunday 14th June starting at the usual time of 10am at the Cricket Ground. It is a handicap race so runners of all abilities have a chance to win. Everyone is welcome!
