Race Report
It was a beautiful sunny morning for the November race which stated an hour earlier than usual because of Remembrance Day. 14 runners turned out despite the early start. First home was
Forton's Dave Henery who smashed his handicap by nearly a minute and a half to become Most Improved Man in a new PB for the course. All that half marathon training is clearly working! In case you can't read it from the picture, the writing on Dave's tee-shirt by the mug says "They can't mug what they can't catch".
Liz Mayon-White from the Station was 4th home and Most Improved Woman.
Thanks very much to Maggie, Emma and Jack for marshalling, to Maggie for the flapjack, to David for the signs and to the Cricket Club for the lovely venue.
We look forward to seeing you at the next race on Sunday 11 December. Santas or other fancy dress will be very welcome and we'll be serving mince pies and mulled wine afterwards.
