Race Report
Three in a row for Ian. Well done!
It was a lovely Spring morning for the March race.
Ian Beveridgeknocked an impressive 48 seconds off his handicap to finish as Most Improved Man for the 3rd time in succession. Well done! that is the first time anyone has achieved three in a row. Most Improved Woman was Alice Evans who beat her handicap by over half a minute.
Thanks very much to Maggie, Katie Evans and Jack for marshalling, to Jim for the cake, Gloria for helping with refreshements, David for the signs and to the Cricket Club for the lovely venue.
We look forward to seeing you at the next race on Sunday 8 April starting at 10am at the Cricket Ground. Runners of all standards are welcome as are brisk walkers. It is a handicap race so the slowest have as much chance of winning the cups as the fastest. Supporters of all ages are very welcome.
