Race Report

The day dawned foggy but not too cool and was pretty much ideal for the 17 runners who arrived for an early start. We welcomed Nick Ruffe, who outstripped his estimate by nearly 2 minutes to be the first person over the line.

Jack presents the Most Improved People with their trophies

The Most Improved Lady was Leyanne who put in a very good run today to finish 3rd in the field. David finished in a very noisy 2nd place to be Most Improved Man.

Well done to all runners and huge apologies to Katie, whom David managed to send off late (her finish time has been adjusted in the results, which is why it appears to be out of order).

Many thanks to the Evanses for timekeeping; to Jack for being Chief Marshal; to Jack and Jim for the excellent cake; to Maggie, Poll and Emma for filling and manning the refreshments table; to the Goulds for the signs and to the Cricket Club for the use of the Ground.
